  1. Your ability to see the color of one's skin through an online article amazes me. Your talents are wasted here. The world needs you. I wouldn't call you racist for your common sense. I'd call you racist for your immediate assumption it was not someone of your own race and color. Crime is committed by misguided people, people of low moral and conviction, lack of education no matter what color they are (Captain Obvious in the house). God forbid, should your child be shot through the window tonight, would it be easier to accept if the shooter is of your own race? This is a crime. Be glad you left the area for the simple fact that crime rates increased in that area. White crime, black crime and brown crime still happens the same way. White bullets, brown bullets and black bullets still penetrate and kill the same way.

  4. I'm sorry MYKEL. I did not mean to offend your glaring lack of comprehension for the art of sarcasm. You pointed out that much more of this man's tattoo is touching his shoulder rather than his neck. Genius! Please, do not waste your talents here. The world needs your assiduity for determining proper location of things. Possibly a position at Google Maps is in your future? Good luck to you, Sir Dryness.

  7. Just Googled her. Came across several mugshots of this winner. Sorry, but she is pasty and blond. Says she was last arrested at her sistercousin's wedding. Yeah...those people.

  8. I'm certainly not sticking up for the guy who is milking the welfare system, but I'm smart enough to realize the road to "Jobdom" isn't paved as nicely as you think it is. Too many of these "fat, lazy deadbeats" are merely the victims (yes, I said victims) of their own environment. When they were children, they didn't have a choice to go to better schools. They weren't taught by higher paid teachers who were tops in their field. They didn't have choices of extra-curricular activities the way mine and many other kids have. They didn't get the skills or have the technology to succeed in today's marketplace. Please don't fool yourself into thinking everyone has equal opportunities in this world. I can tell you that this is bologna. Seeing the kind of hatred and separation among the people on these chat threads proves that many people are at a disadvantage merely by factors they can't control.

You might think "well they should change now that they are adults" or "it is possible to make it out of poverty." There is always that "feel-good" story of the poor kid who made it big after facing extraordinary adversity coming out of the ghetto. Well, it does happen, but not as often as those kids born with ample opportunities. Stop and count your blessings for opportunities you've been given, all that you've earned and all that you've passed on to your kids or youth who have ever looked up to you. Alot of these "deadbeats" never had that.

If you are in a position to help, then hire an unemployed person rather than a job jumper. Suggest to your employer to do the same. My only example of this working is in my own company, where we've hired over 20 unemployed people in 18 months rather than those who are just looking to switch jobs. I am thankful I was not born into poverty and cannot get myself to look down on those who were.
