Merrillville has the absolute worst accounting of it's assets of any municipality in Indiana. Barath and Crenshaw have stolen half a mil from M'ville and all I read and hear about is raising taxes (property rental) to balance this shortcoming. If the leaders of the town can not properly safeguard it's coffers then someone else should or have the state take over like the failed school systems in NW In. Unfortunately these bumbling buffoons can not be replaced but by other bumbling butt-heads. A very sad state of affairs in this town.
