  1. Some people should live in the states booting out gun manufactures. New York has a lot of room as nine percent of the population has left due to liberal progressive policies. I LOVE INDIANA.
April 02, 2013 10:46 am on Legislature set to invite gun makers to move to Indiana
  2. Jail funding: What the feds want the feds should pay for. As to bus service, this is an old progressive liberal idea. Feels good to give the serfs something but in this case as in every other case of busing, it does little for a few and nothing for many.

  4. It is a trauma just to go to Gary. Lake County government is in sequester and it is working. But real career politicians need tax increases to take care of the sheepie, those that rely on government thinking for them.
February 27, 2013 8:25 am on Senate votes 50-0 for Lake County income tax plan, Gary projects
  5. Cut spending is not allowed by REAL politicians. They prefer to TAKE CARE of those who WANT the government to take care of them cradle to grave. Here is the reason for sequestor and the FAILING of the REAL politicians: The sequester was originally passed as part of the Budget Control Act of 2011 (BCA), better known as the debt ceiling compromise.
It was intended to serve as incentive for the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction (aka the “Supercommittee”) to come to a deal to CUT $1.5 trillion over 10 years. If the committee had done so, and Congress had passed it by Dec. 23, 2011, then the sequester would have been averted.
    Obviously, that didn’t happen.

  7. Tax me for "government operational needs"? What about my needs? I'm on a fixed income (social security) and I did not get a large increase for my operational needs. But then again I didn't vote for the government to take care of me.
