  1. As Cindi's sister, I want to thank Alderman Collins for making a wonderful memorial for my sister. She loved the City of Calumet City. The outpouring of the residents of Frogtown was overwhelming. Just watching people from all over the neighbood walking up and gathering in her honor was an emotional tribute to my sister that I will never forget. Cindi is SO proud of "her' ward, as well as I am. Yes, gloves were there to plant, but not one person used them. We all used our hands and just dug down in the dirt to plant. Noone cared about getting dirty. They cared about making a memory for Cindi. God Bless and Thank you, to the residents of Calumet City, Frogtown and Alderman Collins for making it all possible. Her memory will live on.....

  2. This is Cindi's sister. Noone really knows what caused her accident. We do know she fell in her driveway on the way to take my mother's dog to get groomed. Was it a fall or a seisure? We don't know. All we do know is that when someone found her she was barely breathing. She had trauma to her brain, swelling and bleeding. She never regained conciousness.
