The three judges fighting the rules are Bonaventura cronies. Bonaventura ran a very closed-knit juvenile justice system with hidden agendas. None of her magistrates should be allowed to work with her in her new position. They manipulated the entire DCS, CHINS and juvenile system in lake county. Stop Bonaventura's power NOW. Tell us Bonaventura, have you taken any children away from parents so you could give them to your friends who wanted to adopt?

I hope she gets lost during her county visits and can't find her way back. Then maybe Lake County and the entire State will have an honest working DCS and juvenile court system. Go away MB!

The entire state political arena better become aware of Bonaventuras nasty tactics. It used to be just us in Lake County who fell victim to her so called "rulings." Now she's going to envelope the whole state in her messy way of getting whatever she wants. Plus, she's just plain UGLY!

Bonaventura should STAY OUT OF IT! This woman left the position, thank god. But now shes trying to get control of DCS and the court. I need to people not to let her get her hands on their young children by using CHINS or DCS. It's evil. Those kids will disappear and you will not get them back, no matter how good you clean up your act. Bonaventura should be taken out of the child service arena completely. Many other people have written who have experienced her type of rulings and have stated all the moves she has made that would be deemed illegal if someone in government would just look without blinders at what has been going on.

Absolutely not. She is the most corrupt and unethical woman that God made the mistake of creating. She steals children! Now she'll be able to steal even more kids from parents who made an extreme turn-around and cleaned up to get their kids back. Bonaventura doesn't care what good things parents have done to try and reunite their families - she just takes the kids like she's shopping. And who does she give those presents to, huh, dishonorable judge?

This is an ourtage! She is corrupt and steals children. Could it possibly have been her who turned in the prior head of DCS just so she could get the position? THAT is the type of individual she REALLY is. I wouldn't put it past her.

This is an outrage! Bonaventura is a horrible choice. She doesn't give a chance to the parents who turn their lives around and petition for return of their children. Even if the parents clean up their act, she takes the kids - no matter what. Another issue is her referring to her deceased son. What she didn't state was that her son was a drug abuser and a juvie himself. You can look it up on the State of Indiana on-line dockets - he has over a dozen altercations listed. Some are for posession. Ditto for her nephew. Isn't that considered juvie? This was going on while she was running the TV show "Juvies." Search through the obituaries to get their names and look it up for yourself. Search under her name and you'll find the names of the son and nephew. If she couldn't stop her own kid, how can she be allowed to judge others? The governor has made the biggest mistake of his career. Did you do your research Governor Pence? Apparently not. And to the NW Times staff, if you release my identity then YOU are creating a crime. Remember the sign-up statement says identity will remain confidential so don't date to be pressured by her so she can come after me. She is one mean woman. This is horrendous news!
