  1. Let's face it. The only open wheel racing that America cares about is the Indy 500. Look at the stands during any of the televised races, there are usually less than a truck race. You think Juan Pablo Montoya and Danica Patrick switched just for the heck of it? Not that Danica was anything close to a major success in open wheel.

  3. I work at a venue in Georgia and saw these guys a couple of years ago when they toured with Styx. They put on a pretty good show. BUT, if you don't play your hits, people won't be happy and won't come. I saw that with the "Dukes of September" (Boz Scaggs, Michael McDonald and Donald Fagen) who played maybe one of their hits each and then did a whole show on what they said they liked. People walked out and it was a terrible show.

  5. Sad to hear the news, though no unexpected. I remember that Sears store being the Ticketron Outlet back in the mid 70's and lining up for tickets to the big concerts. Shoot, I lived in CC from1980-87...right off of Wentworth...if you talk about crime...I had my car stolen, van broken into and my garage broken into during those 7 years. Not to mention..just to bring back memories, 100 year floods, 2 years in a row.
