  1. Seriously? He's probably the most intelligent poster I've seen on here and if you actually read what he says maybe you'll actually learn something. Certainly easier to read than the bumbling, incoherent drivel coming from one certain poster. But I guess what the law isn't really important, is it. I can't say I'm surprised at all the backlash Alacran is getting. Being logical and informed of the law, of course, takes a back seat to close-mindedness, bias, and sensationalism.

  2. No it's called the defense doing it's job. If they didn't ask the IN Supreme Court to rule on the ethics of letting this bozo testify, then they could be liable for malpractice. It's called being diligent. But of course that doesn't matter to the masses, it's all about rough justice I guess.

  3. I don't believe that's true at all. Fact of the matter is, it is unethical for a defense attorney to represent clients whose interests are adverse to one another and the defense is actually doing their job. If they DIDN'T ask the judge to certify this question to the Indiana supreme court, then the defense could be sued for malpractice and I'm sure some of the geniuses commenting on this story would be the first to b*tch and moan for that.
    And by the way - it's the prosecutor who wants this guy to testify. So I'm not exactly sure what you think the "plan" is but it sure doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
