- This was a long time coming. I have consoled many women from Hammond Baptist Church. I was saddened by the pain and struggle I saw in their lives because of the sick and twisted teaching of the pastors and leadership of this church, elementary, middle, high school and college. So much damage has been done to so many people. I can only hope that healing can begin now for the countless victims of this cult. This is NOT new. Hyles covered up his son's sexual abuse of many. When he was caught he was sent to the SCHOOL THEY HAVE IN TEXAS May take this moment to say that predators love this kind of environment. no one questions anything. unfortunately the Catholic church has learned this too. Sexual abuse is about power and control. The sex is secondary. Any time you have an imbalance of power, as there is in this church, there is this potential. There is something wrong when people are drawn to role play the 'Stepford Wives'. When so called authority isn't allowed to ever be questioned in the 'name of the Lord' or otherwise it is perfect fodder for this stuff. This isn't about the Lord allowing this to happen in His house. This IS about He giving free will to His children. This IS about these self-proclaimed men of God step by step embracing evil to the point that with their free will they expunge the spirit that is given to a child. The child they were is dead. What is worse they have willingly chosen this until the good in them is blotted by the evil they chose and they don't care any more. The evil blocks everything they have done to the child and every reaction they have as they do it. It is my belief that this choosing this evil has no return. There is a point where their will and their evil if irreversible. Like Phora's heart. There is no saving or healing this. what is worse about this, as it was for the victims in the Catholic church is that their faith has been highly risked. For many this would mean that their ability to accept eternal salvation would be at risk. A God who 'allows' this in His church? You can have that God. My God doesn't plan 6 yrs olds giving oral sex for their own good or to develop their character or test their faith. To make all this even lovelier...anyone want to guess how many years he will end up doing for this?
