1. Doesn't anyone understand that no one is innocent? Either way this is a very devestating thing that happened to both families. The verdict is the verdict. You cannot change it, and just like you are all sitting on here bashing Jeff about living at home, or where he went to highschool, or about his mugshot, none of this will bring Brandon back, and none of this will give Jeff more prison time. I truely do believe that he was defending himself, no one would do such an awful thing for no apparent reason at all...but it doesn't matter what I think, or what any of you think. Unless you were there that night, and you know all the details... and didn't "forget because you forget a lot of stressful times in your life... like highschool football games" then you don't know the real truth. There were holes in the story. As much as Brandon's family and friends want to believe that he did no wrong, he probably wasn't perfect either, Just as Jeff isn't perfect. 2 guys out....2 guys made a mistake. This is why drinking does not bring out the best in people. Their behavior is always unpredictable....either way, I hope Jeff gets out, and gets to enjoy the rest of his life, and I hope Brandon's family got the closure they needed to move on....just as all of you should be doing by now.
