  1. I am absolutely astounded by the fact that something like this unfortunate incident in which Homaky and the other officers are now involved in has brought other officers to a place where it seems like they almost have to choose sides. And now we have an officer who feels it necessary to pretend that we are all ignorant to the constitution as well as the laws. Fortunately for some of us this is not the case. Nor do I feel obligated to choose sides, because as far as I am concerned there is only one side to be on, and it is certainly not the side to better myself at the price of another officer. That is why the "good" officers do not get as far as they should in most cases, because they choose to only do their job correctly and not kiss up to higher persons or become part of the "clik's" as some people call them. It is situations like this that should be against the law, making for a hostile work enviroment. It is sad that people have to go through so much for a career that they love so much.

  3. "once wore blue" Thank you for showing your ignorance as I stated earlier. If your police work is the same as your "guess" I now understand why you no longer wear blue. I get it now, it's ok, not everybody is cut out for such a job. As for the fed's?????? believe me there are people way higher than Homoky that they need to pick up in Hobart. Besides they will be right around the corner in Lake Station from what I understand anyway. And maybe you should reconsider passing judgement until you know all the facts, again as I stated earlier. I thought it was innocent until proven guilty?????? or did you forget that too? what is funny to me is that I never say anything about any of this stuff in the paper, I just normally take it all in, but in this case I have been close enough and hear enough about all this garbage that it actually makes me sick. And this is why I do my job and stay out of the politics. It is sad that a police officer typically does not get paid enough for putting their lives on the line everyday but then they have to put up with this type of garbage as well.

  5. I am guessing there is a reason for you name "onceworeblue". It is obvious that you have some ill feelings towards police for some odd reason..... not sure why, but whatever. Everybody has reasons I guess. But really, you are acting like you know the facts already..... and if you do, Please do tell...... One question though, how/why would Stardust give a check to a police officer if they didn't owe it to him for something? And don't even get me started about the towing company thing!!!! If you think for half a second that is all over with, you must not know very much. Samson Towing..... anybody wonder why Hobart only has one towing company, welll I will tell you. It is because Scott "owner of Samson" is tied politically and apparently his past is irrelevant to Police Towing. He hasn't made enough money from Hobart to allow a second towing company back in. Hobart has had more than 1 towing company for quite some time, and now they only have 1 and it isn't even based in Hobart! Yes they have a yard in Hobart, but they are not from Hobart.

  6. ok, let's just be realistic about all of this. This is in fact every bit of some political BULL! This happens at every police department, no matter what anybody thinks, it is everywhere! This is in fact the greatest career in the world, however the politics involved are relentless.
    But I will say, if he is in fact guilty than he is and there is nothing to else to say about that, but you gotta be joking if you think he would be the only police officer that is not "perfect"! remember none of us are. And for everyone talking bad about someone you don't know..... I bet you would want him there if your life or someone you love's life was in danger!! I still can't believe how ignorant some people are to judge someone, when you have no idea what the truth really is!!!!!
