  1. Thank you for proving my point. Your outrage is not for the loss of American life you proclaim bur rather for any causality your can surreptitiously attach to the current administration. Not the patriot your want us to believe, but rather just another individual who will say anythng to defame the current POTUS.

You are no better or worse than those who protest our dying soliders at funerals...using their deaths to promote your/their personal agenda.

"Nothing limits intelligence more than ignorance; nothing fosters ignorance more than one's own opinions; nothing strengthens opinions more than refusing to look at reality."

I encourage everyone to look at both sides and then dig even further. The truth shall set you free.

  2. Just like you Lyvmyharley to hear what what you want rather than the intent of the message. The agenda of the Republican party (incl card carrying and non carrying teamparty members) is not covert. Just as some people have tired of Obama "excuses", a great many of Americans have tired of those who have stood in the way of progress snickering in the background as their lack of effort has virtually gone unchallenged. They too will someday be held accountable.

As for Benghazi - regardless of your efforts, every American grieves the loss of the lives of OUR Americans in Benghazi. What's shameful is how you repeatedly use their loss of life to promote your personal agenda. If it is PROVEN that the POTUS actions or inactions contributed to the loss of American lives, AMERICANS will not rest until the person(s) responsible are held countabile. But, I can't help but to wonder how much we would be hearing from the likes of individuals like you on this subject if it were not an election year.

If you are the patriot you want us to believe, where are your post expressing outrage for the solders who have died in the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan? Where are your post on the solders who have died needlessly in Iraq? Where are you post for the policemen who have fallen in the line of duty? You should be equally outraged by ANY American life given to protect us. Like the shadow dwellers you choose to protect, your true agenda has not gone unnoticed.

"Nothing limits intelligence more than ignorance; nothing fosters ignorance more than one's own opinions; nothing strengthens opinions more than refusing to look at reality."

I encourage everyone to look at both sides and then dig even further. The truth shall set you free.

  3. "Who knows better how to help Indiana than Hoosiers?"

What's next? Let's all start rocking our "Hoosiers" clothing, hold hands, burn candles and start singing we shall overcome in the middle a disaster? C'mon. As the people of New Jersey found out along with Gov Christy (who vigoursly defended the might of the right at the RNC), sometimes Government is GOOD.

Reminds me of people who only turn to GOD when they really need him...then it's LORD hear our prayers.

  4. Worried - well stated. any rebuttals?
November 01, 2012 10:00 am on Has Romney experienced any troubles like we have?
  5. Carter - well written. I couldn't agree with you more.

Others - take off your white hats and show us who you really are. As much as Mr. Carter's comments ring true and I commend him for standing up for and up to his race, I'm equally confident he did not intend to turn this into us vs them along color lines. Shame on those of you who used his courageous stand to further your hate.

And for those of you who want to move the conversation to welfare reform, try not to continually paint the face of those abusing the system solely as people of color. If every person of color were to suddenly be dropped from welfare, there would still be a substantial number of white faces in the program having babies with multiple fathers, or fathers impregnating multipe women, who are drug users, and making a career out of gaming the system.

While I have not always agreed with all comments of Independent Mind, at least he/she calls out ALL people for their abuse of the welfare program.

  6. phox phan - obama is no way perfect and has made SOME decisions i do not fully support. however, when i add up the score obama is doing a better job than the previous administration and frankly Right Romney is too extreme and Moderate Romney is unreliable. The funny thing is no one (even the right), is certain which Romney we will get.

you on the other hand only want to only list the perceived negatives of an obama adminstration without doing due deligence to find out how we got in this mess to begin with. i'm quite sure there's plenty of blame to go around on both sides of the aisle

  7. BOTH parties have done this in the past and continue to bicker and argue solely to promote their selfish agendas.

For fiscal 1999, 2005 and 2007, the House and Senate failed to reconcile their different bills and pass a compromise measure. In these latter three cases, the Republicans were in the majority in both chambers of Congress.

Obama killed Bin Laden...........Hitler didn't march the jews into the gas chambers....but we stil credit him and the Nazis for being murderers of milions of jews.

IF Obama is proven to have done as you say in Benghazi - I will stand with all Americans and codemn his failure to protect our Americans in Benghazi.

  10. phox phan

    I repeat.

FactCheck.org - By our calculations, Obama can be fairly assigned responsibility for a maximum of $203 billion in additional spending for that year.

It can be argued that the total should be lower. Economist Daniel J. Mitchell of the libertarian CATO Institute — who once served on the Republican staff of the Senate Finance Committee — has put the figure at $140 billion

Ordinarily, an incoming president has little or no influence over spending that was approved under his predecessor. So in normal circumstances, all spending for fiscal year 2009 would have been rightly tied to Bush, and fiscal 2010 would be the first year for which Obama would have prepared a budget and signed the major spending bills. And for the most part, big spending programs that require no yearly appropriations, including Social Security and Medicare, did indeed continue to operate during fiscal 2009 under the policies in effect under Bush.

I could go on but I'm sure you'll just continue with the lies....
