- After all the heroin overdose deaths within recent years, why hasn't LaPorte County worked toward offering services to help addicts? We all know how bad a problem there is in our community, but no one is stepping up to the plate to help. Why not open a methadone clinic, or have more doctors offer Suboxone treatment? If there's no other option for these user, THEY WILL KEEP USING!! Jail doesnt scare them, getting arrested doesnt affect them, and last but not least neither does OVERDOSING and Dying!! This is the time we need to come together and TRY HARDER to make a difference, or we can just keep expecting the same outcome everytime, they will keep using, relapsing, and eventually dying because its a vicious circle that wont stop............Lets help our loved one, friends, and family member break this cycle of addiction..........and let drug addiction become a thing of the past.....
