- It's about time we are starting to get back on track. I hope that the mayor stays out of the PD now and let's it be self sustainable. This is probably one of the most qualified group of officers that will run this department without holding grudges or taking unsubstantiated claims against patrol officers and not trying to ruin careers. Hopefully these guys get the PD running right and better than it ever has. No need for head hunting escapades anymore now the real cops are running the show. About time.

- I concur with you there Sniper. All of these so called public officials have been ruining Hobart for quite some time now. And 2 of the three final candidates for chief are Hobart officers. One of which whom is going to be a puppet for Snedecor again. It never changes. I have money on Grissom getting it. And nothing will change in that PD. As for the FD I feel bad for those guys working under this clown of a mayor.

- That's ok because Officer Homoky will end up being vindicated from all of this defamation. And since the city feels it necessary to place him on leave without pay his lawsuit will again grow. I am upset that city officials have allowed this head hunt to go this far. I am also very upset as home owner and tax payer of Hobart that my taxes are going to have to go to pay the lawsuit both civil and criminal against the city. Officer Homoky will end up winning a large sum of money for all of the wrong that was done to him and Hobart PD will be having a hiring process to replace all of the dirty, political cops that are going to not be able to be cops after they are charged. I look forward to crossing paths with them in the next few years after Officer Homoky is cleared and decides whether or not he even wants to go back to work. Heck I wouldn't considering how much money he is going to be awarded for having his civil rights and due process rights violated several times by the same individuals at the PD.

- Oh yeah "once wore blue" why are you no longer wearing blue. is it because you are an elected official that constantly lies to officers because you have no guts. Sounds like a mayor that I'm not voting for next election. And since you know old jeffy personally and he thinks that he is the all star self proclaimed cop of the century ask him how long he was on the road and how he and his bestie vance raced to the sleep spot to see who could get there first and see who had fire watch so the other could sleep. And how much cop work did they do before they became paper pushers. Those two have done less real cop work than any rookie cop in the world. So you say you know the truth maybe its white that's stretching the truth a bit, did you ever think of that. And as for the mayor constantly telling Homoky that he wants him back on the road. Really? Hes another waste of the City's money. Nuff said. I'm out.

- Hey there why is that you once wore blue. Is it because you have no idea what I am saying. I am not saying by a long shot that it is ok to cover up anything for a police officer. So let me break it down barney style for you. If you don't know what that means then I will elaborate even more. I will put this in a context that even a five year old can understand. All of these officers and chiefs that are after Homoky all have an axe to grind against him. There is no way possible that you can think for even a second that any officer would make it their job to ruin one officer that just did his job. he didn't make officer of the year because he didnt know what he was doing. Homoky is one of the best and most ethical officers and has unquestionable integrity. And they are throwing him under the bus because of an unsubstantiated investigation that lead them no where so they had to start pulling straws. They somehow stumbled upon this bs and are now charging him with this. Remind me again what the statute of limitations is again in Indiana. Pretty sure this case is toeing the line with that. I am just very happy to say that I cannot wait until all of Kirk's lawsuits are done. Then his ex "the mother of the year" will come back and try to be nice again. And all of those officers that have attempted to throw Kirk under the bus, Grissom, White, Thompson, Ogden, just to name a few, I hope that the next chief sees directly through all of you and throws all of you under the bus just as you have done to Kirk. Im done.

- This whole thing has been a witch hunt ever since Jeffy white got mad cause his buddies tow company wasnt getting all of the tows. One officer already was head hunted for that. Now they are just going after the only other officer to have th guts enough to stick up for what was right and to speak out against the cancer of the department. And this is what he gets. The other peons just cower in the corner while the officer that sticks up for the quiet bottom desk dwellers wipe their mouths off.

- This is quite obviously an issue with an un named EX wife that thinks she can say whatever she wants. The problem here is that a pill head, thief, that has never done an honest thing in her life is what this whole investigation is leaning on. She is not a credible person, and anyone who thinks she is doesn't belong in LE. The defamation and slander lawsuits will come and when they do they will be great to watch. I pray for the day to come when an un named pill popping, non bill paying, free loading ex wife gets what karma is going to deal out to her. And as for the most recent chief that resigned, you are quite a piece of work. And Ogden, officer of the year, for throwing as many other officers under the bus as possible just to get what you want.
