Or at the least, they may be physically or chemically castrated. Research shows that this is the only way to help these SICK people, short of removing them from the planet. There is nothing that society does that teaches you to become a child predator, this is a chemical imbalance that will never be remedied without chemical changes. With castration, they could become functioning members of society in that case. They CANNOT be cured, you are fully correct. My very harsh, yet unrealistic, standpoint would be to yes, kill them, and not via the drawn out "humane" method we use now, but by a single bullet to the head post conviction. But, that would be "cruel," right?

They are correct; the models are all very conflicting due to the range of temperatures in the region and in Chicago/suburbs -- our high today could reach mid to upper thirties, which may allow for large flakes in the air, but when it comes to accumulation, it will be a big sloppy mess. The very, very slight differences in temperature, which are impossible to pinpoint with a storm of this nature, are what is bringing in flashes of snow, rain, sleet... all of the fun stuff. Here in Merrillville, it's literally changing by the minute from snow to rain, to ice. I just was non plussed with the "8 inches" that were promoted in the print media yesterday, when anyone who can view a weather model would know that the Region would not be getting anything close to that. Crying wolf does not work well around here, we are not stupid.

Mike, if you do check your local listings, WYIN/Lakeshore Public Television has the only NWI news program in existence, Lakeshore News Tonight, which airs at 9:00 p.m. and re-broadcasts at midnight, Monday through Friday.

Pathfinder, you were clearly not at the presentation -- Levinson was anything but a "useful idiot" and and pointed out many examples in past rulings of the Supreme Court in which a religiously based initiative was shot down as to not provide favor to one religion or another -- in addition to a plethora of other interesting FACTS, not OPINIONS.

The proposed legislation against contraceptives involves companies such as Hobby Lobby, not just typical "religious" organizations or companies. One person's religiously fueled stance on women's rights should not set the standard for their company.

It is also always so fascinating to hear the male point of view on this issue. They, of course, are not the one to end up carrying, bearing, and in some cases, caring for the child for the rest of their lives. The same men who are against abortion are against the medication that would prevent unwanted pregnancies... and then when their are lower-income families who need assistance due to the birth of a child they were not prepared to have, these same legislators do not want to provide them with government assistance to care for the child.

Call me crazy, but the entire agenda seems to be a slow measure to simply let the "poor" die off... as many earlier societies did. Sounds like a grand future for this country.

They are not... what? Fueling hatred? Contributions to PACs is not considered Freedom of Speech. They have the right to do whatever they want to do and donate to whoever they want just like I have the choice to not eat at a place who contributes to a hate group. You referred to the crowd as a "Sea of Humanity" and as a literal sense, yes, it was a sea of humans. In the figurative sense where humanity refers to the virtue of tending to and befriending others-- I am still unclear as to how isolating and being specifically against any group is an example of humanity.
