- I have to agree with you as well...I am from Merrillville,grew up there,went to Iddings,Pierce and the High school.Back in the day we never had the violence in the schools like they have today,there were an occasional fight here and there some drugs going around but NEVER were there guns or any weapons of any kind brought in what so ever,I am a gun owner and have children BUT they are under lock and key and in my bedroom.I also know at all times what my kids are up to and who they are friends with,I am very open with my kids as a parent and they put there trust in me to give them the the best advice.They know right from wrong and would do the right thing if ever the opportunity arose.The merrillville schools need to check every students address at enrolement to make sure that it truley is there address and not a relatives,

- To clarify on the ad I was a victim of my wallet being stolen,but I was not a shopper I was an employee of Carsons and as i was putting clothes away close to closing these two villians,( I will keep it clean) had destracted my co-worker that i was working with as the one destracted the other did what she did best...heisted my wallet from out of my purse behind the counter stuffed way back on a shelf,I was devistated when i was getting ready to leave work that night and reached in for my keys and noticed that my wallet had been missing,i searched around thinking it fell out of my bag but clearly it hadnt...i had to go home stay up with my 19 year old daughter who gladly helped me cancel every card that i had in my wallet.needless to say as fast as i canceled they had already spent $800.00 that fast at target and walmart.what is so bad that if you have (see id) on your cards no one seems to even pay attention to that or bother to ask for id! I am just glad that my co-worker had gotten a good look and remembered what the one looked like, perhaps she is the final one who captured this #2%@#.Thank you Karen
