- Well I guess if the Munster police are to sympathetic to motorists to issue citations then closing it is the best solution.I see motorists racing down Frederic ave(my block),everyday then pull into the gas station to make an illegal left turn to go north on Calumet. At a town meeting I brought this up and the police were sympathetic to this practice. I find that disturbing. I would be interested ,in knowing how many violations are issued for the illegal left turn as well as the "use of a private property for a public thoroughfare. My bet nun.Yes close it !Thank you.
