- I find this school board to be a joke, it is clear to me that Cecillia Heigberger has the school board in her pocket. This is the reason they are able to hire their family members the only way you will get a job in district 158 you have to known members of the board or the superintendent. Yeah, she raised the issue about the teachers getting a raise but also when they went into close session she was up for a raise also. I think it is time the community of Lansing with children in 158 come together and vote for a new school board. I find that most of the member don't even have children in the district anymore and are clueless to the reality of the community. It is very clear to me district has plenty of money and they are spending it on everything they feel is needed, but didn't want to waive the fees for the student for the 2012/2013 school year. I would like to see some new board member.
