Use the money to fund something that is well needed and used; like all the neglected bridges and roadways.
Amtrak does nothing but suck tax payer dollars and hinder freight, a viable form of transportation that is in no danger of collapse and does not beg for tax dollars to turn a profit.
It wouldn't matter if it was one or one million.
And be honest, it doesn't matter to you either.
There is no onus upon me to justify exercising my inalienable rights. And my rights do not end where your feeling begin either.
And the list of firearm and accessory manufacturers who are refusing to do business with states that violate the Constitutional rights of citizens is growing ever larger.
Freedom having a cost is more than some 1960's hippie song lyrics. Try Japan, Bobsr. No guns, almost zero crime and you can skip all that pesky due process stuff.
"The first amendment is outdated because our ability to communicate has been so techologically advanced. Yes, people have the right to own books, newspapers and hand written notes for the purpose of learning. They do not have the right to own ipads and satellite communications only the military should have. They have the right to own these books and personal thoughts only after they are registered and a background check is made on the person."
Are sure you are even up for the reality of what it entails to be free?
Also, try a thought experiment for and see how it jives with you:
"When the first amendment was written, it was printing presses and town criers that people relied on.The right to these types of free speech is not even questioned today, just that we need REGULATION. Only the military needs GPS, internet access, mass media outlets, video cameras, audio recording devices, cell phones etc. NOT the average citizen. When you freedom loving Americans stop drinking the Kool-Aid and get some common sense you will see this."
And how is that home invasion thing working out in the UK? Or the roving bands of soccer hooligans? Freedom has a cost, if you are not willing to accept that , maybe you should try Singapore - it is clean, crime free and the government is all to willing to stomp on you to make sure it stays that way.
