Yojimbo

  1. But you forget that the only way an omnibenevolent, omniscient and omnipotent being can possibly stand up in defense of its self its to have petty angry little mortal men tell everyone what said being really desires and thinks.

  2. Josephus did not live during the supposed lifetime of your Jesus fellow.

  3. There is no threat of monopoly when it comes to Smashtrak. Oh sorry Amtrak. If there was a viable passenger train market you can bet your last 2 shiny cents and your favorite gonad that some company like UP, BNSF or CN would be moving in on it. There just isn't a market. Amtrak is not a museum, pbs, a park or some worthy historical venture. It is a failure of tax dollars. Even when it is funded it isn't funded enough, leaving concerns of safety.

Use the money to fund something that is well needed and used; like all the neglected bridges and roadways.

  4. How about no. Amtrak is a money sink. If you want to take pretty train trips across the scenic landscape of America try some privately owned short line.

Amtrak does nothing but suck tax payer dollars and hinder freight, a viable form of transportation that is in no danger of collapse and does not beg for tax dollars to turn a profit.

  5. Do they get these medals for "double tapping" non-combatants or something more heroic like not spilling their coffee on their controllers?

  6. "How many Americans have used an assult weapon to protect their families?"

It wouldn't matter if it was one or one million.
And be honest, it doesn't matter to you either.

There is no onus upon me to justify exercising my inalienable rights. And my rights do not end where your feeling begin either.

  7. Not only is Magpul behind, they are giving priority to CO residents before they pack up shop and leave. Makes we want to go out and buy Magpul products just to support them. And I hope Governor Pence is trying to court them into moving to Indiana.

And the list of firearm and accessory manufacturers who are refusing to do business with states that violate the Constitutional rights of citizens is growing ever larger.

  8. Don't kid yourself. People like Bobsr are not going to be taking it, they are first in line to get their shiny new star when they join the Jüdischer Ordnungsdienst. All to willing to help the bright new world of totalitarianism take hold if it allows them to make it home with a big mac and able to watch honey-boo-boo while they text in their vote for the next American Idol.

Freedom having a cost is more than some 1960's hippie song lyrics. Try Japan, Bobsr. No guns, almost zero crime and you can skip all that pesky due process stuff.

  9. Your authoritarianism is wonderfully clueless and naive.

"The first amendment is outdated because our ability to communicate has been so techologically advanced. Yes, people have the right to own books, newspapers and hand written notes for the purpose of learning. They do not have the right to own ipads and satellite communications only the military should have. They have the right to own these books and personal thoughts only after they are registered and a background check is made on the person."

Are sure you are even up for the reality of what it entails to be free?
February 27, 2013 1:20 pm on It is hard work protecting Americans' freedoms
  10. I am afraid that well regulated does not mean what you want it to mean.

Also, try a thought experiment for and see how it jives with you:

"When the first amendment was written, it was printing presses and town criers that people relied on.The right to these types of free speech is not even questioned today, just that we need REGULATION. Only the military needs GPS, internet access, mass media outlets, video cameras, audio recording devices, cell phones etc. NOT the average citizen. When you freedom loving Americans stop drinking the Kool-Aid and get some common sense you will see this."

And how is that home invasion thing working out in the UK? Or the roving bands of soccer hooligans? Freedom has a cost, if you are not willing to accept that , maybe you should try Singapore - it is clean, crime free and the government is all to willing to stomp on you to make sure it stays that way.
