- Great job, Lake Central Teachers, those raises should have never been given to the administrators. They already are the top earners in the cooporation. Teachers are the ones that shape the next generation, and in my opinion, are indeed intitled to a long overdue pay raise. More teachers need to be hired, classrooms at Lake Central are over crowded. the school board members that voted for the raise for the administrators, need to be voted out, they have been there too long, Baranowski, DeVries, Marshall, I think you know who you are. The non - certified staff, (bus drivers, custodials, classroom aids) they also need to group together and get to a school board meeting to address this situation, they also have not had raises in 4 years. It is time to realize that Veracco and Gandolfi, do not have the best interest of the Lake Central Schools or their students in their minds. It is how we can build big new buildings, and self profit as much as we can, that is on the top of their minds.

- You have got to be kidding me!! It seems like only one school board member had the brains or the guts to vote against this raise. Kudos to Janice Malchow. The Lake Central School Corportation teachers, and support staff, (custodians, school bus drivers, aids, etc) have had to take benefit cuts, and no raises for quite a while, and some have lost their positions, because of the financial situation within the corporation. Moral is at a all time low, good teachers and school bus drivers are choosing to retire, instead of working a little longer because of certain situations within the corportation. These people are the thread that binds everything together and make our students what they are. They give 100% of themselves everyday, and yet you the school board decide to give the top money earners within the corporation, a raise. In my opinion this was a very bad decision..... With out the support staff, this school corporation could not be what it is, and yet you seem to ignore them and beat them down at every chance you get. Most of America is taking pay cuts and finally Lake Central is in the black, and you choose to reward the top money earners, instead of your teachers, and support staff. This just amazes me.
