Illinois International Port District Executive Director Clayton Harris III will discuss real estate opportunities near Lake Michigan and Lake Calumet at an upcoming meeting.
Harris will keynote the Calumet Area Industrial Commission’s luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Harborside International, 11001 S. Doty Avenue.
“The meeting will focus upon opportunities for businesses to develop commercial property on part of the 1,800 acres of land that is part of the Illinois International Port District,” the CAIC said in a press release. “The district is seeking parties interested in the development of hospitality and recreational facilities as well as industrial, warehouse and distribution facilities. The Port District leases land to a variety of business concerns including the Harborside International Golf facility and center at 11001 S. Doty in Chicago.”
