The Merrillville-based chamber, which serves Merrillville and Crown Point, stages the annual Grow Expo to give people the chance to "grow your network, your business, and your community." It's free and open to the public.

The annual expo will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. May 15. More than 70 vendors will be on hand with food and drink samples, product demonstration, raffles and a newly added retail showcase that will make local, hand-crafted items available for purchase.
