Then Northwest ISBDC accepting nominations for its Entrepreneurial Excellence awards.

Do you know of any successful entrepreneurs hustling and grinding away in Northwest Indiana?

Get them the recognition they deserve by nominating them for the Northwest Indiana Small Business Development Center's Entrepreneurial Excellence Awards.

Every year, the Northwest ISBDC, a non-profit consulting and training service for small business owners across the Region, recognizes entrepreneurs with at least three years of growth in the following categories: small business person of the year, entrepreneurial success, small business exporter, young entrepreneur, minority-owned small business person, family-owned business, emerging small business and small business advocate. Honorees hail from Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Jasper, Starke, Pulaski and Newton counties.

“Our annual awards event is an extraordinary opportunity to share the stories and passions of our honorees,” said Lorri Feldt, regional director of the NW-ISBDC. “These standout entrepreneurs are impacting our region’s communities every day and our E-Day luncheon is a time to slow down and really take stock of these accomplishments.”

Nominations must be submitted by Aug. 24, and the awards ceremony will take place at Nov. 15 at the Avalon Manor in Merrillville.
