Centier Break Through seminar to focus on 'Standing Out in Today’s Digital Landscape'

The Dos and Don'ts of Digital Media, the second Break Through business seminar in an educational series presented by Centier Bank and the Times Media, Co. was presented last year at the Centier Corporate Center in Merrillville.

Business owners interested in marketing digitally and reaching customers online might want to clear their calendar for the next installment of Centier Bank's Break Through business seminar series.

Centier and The Times of Northwest Indiana will host a "Break Through the Clutter... Stand Out in Today’s Digital Landscape" seminar from 8 to 9 a.m. Nov. 7 at the Centier Corporate Center at 600 E. 84th Ave., Merrillville. 

Amplified Digital's Jolene Sherman and The Times of Northwest Indiana's Joseph Battistoni will discuss digital strategies and tactics for making a small business stand out.

"We are always excited about the Break Through sessions but digital marketing will always be special to us," Battistoni said. "We’re glad to have someone of Jolene’s caliber in market to give us a 2019 digital landscape and beyond. I look forward to sharing the stage with her to inform and educate our business community on coming trends digital trends for any range of local businesses and advertising agencies."

Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., and the presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session between 9 and 9:30 a.m.

Break Through is a quarterly series of free educational seminars that help the owners of small and medium-sized businesses in Northwest Indiana protect, grow, manage and transition their businesses. Guest speakers discuss subjects like data security, digital marketing, building culture and succession planning at the well-attended sessions at Centier Bank's glass office tower.

Attendees of the Nov. 7 talk will be entered into a drawing for a NWI Times digital media advertising package valued at $1,000.
