Cimcor named one of world's top cybersecurity companies

Merrillville-based Cimcor Inc. has been ranked 75th worldwide in Cybersecurity Ventures’ “Top 500 cybersecurity companies for 2016.”

The 19-year-old firm moved up after ranking 82nd the previous year.

“Cimcor is one of the longest standing companies in the top 100 of the Cybersecurity 500,” says Steve Morgan, founder and editor-in-chief at Cybersecurity Ventures. “Their flagship product Cimtrak has continued to be one of the market’s leading solutions for file integrity monitoring, change management, compliance, and auditing — some of the most daunting challenges for security and risk executives.”

Cimcor’s customers include NASA, the U.S. Air Force, Cornell University, Chicago Stock Exchange, and the Milwaukee Brewers. Cimcor develops software that gives organizations real-time information on any changes being made to their information technology infrastructure.

Cimcor foresees continued growth in 2017, said President and CEO Robert E. Johnson III.
