Lakeshore Chamber panel to discuss that 'The Region Means Business'

The Lakeshore Chamber’s 13th annual Business Expo & Luncheon at Dynasty Banquets in Hammond last year.

The Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce announced the panelists at its upcoming Business Expo & Luncheon in Hammond next month.

Panelists at the 14th annual expo include WJOB 1230 AM and 104.7 FM co-owner Jim Dedelow, Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana President Louie Gonzalez, Korellis Roofing President Peter Korellis, ArcelorMittal Indiana Harbor Human Resources Manager Joseph Medellin, and Center of Workforce Innovations President and CEO Linda Woloshansky.

They will discuss workforce development from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 13 at Dynasty Banquets, 4125 Calumet Ave., Hammond. Registration starts at 11 a.m.

The panelists will discuss how "The Region Means Business" and efforts to prepare the workforce of tomorrow.

Following the luncheon, the Lakeshore Chamber will host its business expo from 1 to 5 p.m. Business people are asked to provide a business card to enter the expo, where they can network, meet potential clients, check out booths of local businesses, and take advantage of many giveaways.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served from 3 to 5 p.m., during a live broadcast from the expo on WJOB 1230 AM and 104.7 FM.

The luncheon costs $35 and seats must be reserved in advance. Booth space and sponsorships are available.
