A local marketing guru, who owns a Crown Point-based marketing, content development and social media firm, will present at an upcoming conference in the Chicago suburbs.

Mystic Waters Media owner Michael Finney will give a talk at JoomlaDay Chicago 2015, a conference that aims to teach people about one of the web's leading content management systems. The conference, where attendees can hone their skills and meet with Joomla enthusiasts, is Sept. 19 at the Donald E. Stephens Conference Center, 555 N. River Road in Rosemont.

Finney will give a presentation at 11 p.m. on content ecosystem marketing. He will talk about the relationship between a website, advertising, public relations, social media and other marketing practices, in a Joomla/CMS context.
