Ed Romero is the new chief financial officer of The Methodist Hospitals. Romero joined Methodist from the Lutheran Health Network, a subsidiary of Community Health Systems located in Fort Wayne. Hospital President and CEO Ray Grady said Romero's combination of for-profit and non-profit experience will serve Methodist well.
Erica Eckiss has been appointed an officer of Centier Bank. Eckiss serves as branch manager at the Schererville Strack & Van Til location. She has been with Centier since 2010 and has won Branch of the Year awards for the bank in 2013 and 2016. Julie Feinstein has been named Centier corporate trainer and an officer in the Human Resource Development’s Talent Development Department. She is also an executive board member for Humane Indiana and a board member of Downtown Hammond Council. The appointments were announced by Centier President and CEO Michael Schrage.
Community Hospital recently welcomed four physicians to the Community Care Network team: cardiologist Omar Husseini, obstetrician-gynecologist Osama Zaghmout, family physician Jonathan Ramos and pediatrician Kathleen Saoud. The CCNI physicians are closely affiliated with Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago and St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Husseini’s office is at 9104 Columbia Ave., Munster, Zaghmout’s is at 3100 45th Ave., Highland, and Ramos and Saoud practice at 9660 Wicker Ave., St. John.
