Estate attorneys, CPAs and wealth advisers can get free education and professional credits at the annual Red Shield Symposium next month.

Centier Bank will host a live simulcast of the nationally broadcast symposium at 8 a.m. Oct. 16 at the Centier Corporate Centre at 600 E 84th Ave. in Merrillville.

"For decades The Salvation Army has conducted this symposium in order to keep estate planning attorneys, wealth advisers, financial planners, CPAs and trust officers up-to-date with the knowledge and trends in the estate planning industry, as well as to provide them with the continuing education credits necessary for renewing their certifications and advancing their careers," the Salvation Army said in a press release.
