DYER — Doc's Smokehouse and Craft Bar will present a special Hog Roast event featuring raffles, live music and more Saturday. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m.
The Dyer restaurant will be collaborating with Sailor Jerry and Calumet Harley-Davidson to raffle off a couple of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including a 2017 Street Glide.
"There will be giveaways, games and live entertainment," said David Foreman, manager of Doc's.
Starring on the Hog Roast menu will be pulled pork, corn and coleslaw, which costs $5 a plate. Budweiser and Bud Light will be available for $5.
Canines for Veterans, a nonprofit organization, which helps expedite the process by which veterans are given comfort/service dogs for assistance also will be represented and donations are being accepted for the group.
Motorcycles will be raffled off at the event. Raffle tickets are $20. Tickets are available online, at Calumet Harley-Davidson or at Doc's. RNDC, a beverage distribution company, also is collaborating on the event and raffle.
