Singer Frances Langford with Bob Hope During 1943 WWII Tour

Singer-actress Frances Langford gives comedian Bob Hope a pat on the cheek, as they visit U.S. Army headquarters in London on June 26, 1943. Hope's WW II tour, which included Langford, entertained U.S. troops in the Europe. Langford, who died at age 92 in 2005, did a steamy rendition of "I'm in the Mood for Love" as a soldiers' favorite. Hope died in 2003 at age 100.
