Chicago-born comedian Brian Babylon, a frequent guest on NPR's "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me" and past performer on the "Inside Amy Schumer" comedy show, is coming to do a show Friday in the Region.
Babylon will perform stand-up at 8 p.m. Friday at the historic Hobart Art Theater at 230 Main St. in downtown Hobart.
The self-proclaimed “Prince of Bronzeville” was long a staple in the Chicago comedy scene, hosting "The Morning AMP" radio show on Vocalo 91.1 FM and The Moth Story Slam Chicago. He's since moved to Los Angeles, where he works on the production team for the Comedy Central show "Why? with Hannibal Buress" and contributes to BBC Radio.
He's one of the fan favorites on Peter Sagal's Chicago-based popular weekly news quiz show "Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me" and has performed at the Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival and in the New York Comedy Content.
