'Support Group for Men' continues
The comedy "Support Group for Men" continues through July 29 at The Goodman Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn, Chicago.
The play, by Ellen Fairey, is directed by Kimberly Senior. The story is about four Chicago men who meet to talk about their lives and problems in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood.
"Support Group for Men" is a world premiere and is playwright Fairey's return to Chicago's stage. It's been 10 years since her production "Graceland" was presented.
About the play, Fairey said "I'm writing about a group of men who find themselves in a world where everything has changed, and will continue to change - and what it means when 'to be a man' finds itself on the sociological chopping block." Visit goodmantheatre.org for more information.
