The 10th season of Martha Stewart’s Emmy-nominated baking show, "Martha Bakes," premiered on PBS stations nationwide on Saturday. The popular program is presented in partnership with Domino Sugar and Kerrygold Butter.
This season, Stewart responds to the growing interest in innovative decorating techniques that are becoming more prevalent on social media. Stewart's tricks and tips make it possible for the home baker to create recipes with pristine presentation.
Season highlights will include mirror-glazed cakes, intricate lattice designs, decorative breads and over-the-top desserts.
On each of the season’s 13 episodes, a special culinary guest will join Stewart to share some of their secrets.
Season 10's guests are some of the top pastry chefs and bakers from across the country, including Dominique Ansel, of Dominique Ansel Bakery; Ron Ben Israel, of Ron Ben Israel Cakes; Daniel Alvarez, of Daily Provisions and Union Square Café; and famed chocolatier Jacques Torres.
“I’m thrilled to present our 10th season of 'Martha Bakes.' There is no better place to teach engaged viewers than on PBS. PBS continues to support informative, beautiful and quality programming,” Stewart said.
