The inaugural Fusic Fest hits East Chicago this weekend.
The festival combines music,fun and food, takes place at Jeorse Park Beach, 3501 Aldis Ave., East Chicago.
Headlining the music segment of the event will be singer/drummer Sheila E. on Saturday. Also starring on the musical roster is Together band, Infinity Rock Tribute, Visions of Santana and a tribute to late musical artist Selena.
Fest goers will also enjoy a number of attractions and activities including an LED dance robot, fire and acrobat show by the Cincinnati Circus, a water show by Aquafly, a video gaming truck and more.
There will be fireworks by the Mad Bomber closing the festivities every night.
Among games families can enjoy will be a zipline, velcro wall, mechanical surfboard, river rush, basketball challenge, rock wall and other activities.
The kids' zone will star an obstacle course, airplane ride and trackless train. In the games tent visitors will find a pool table, mini golf, air hockey and more.
Assorted food vendors will present a mix of ethnic and traditional fair/fest foods.
