CELEBRATING THE SPIRIT OF VOLUNTEERISM

Everyday passionate, courageous and self-sacrificing individuals serve others and their community in whole, exhibiting what it means to live united.

United Way of Porter County and partner, The Times of Northwest Indiana, are searching for stories of remarkable, local volunteers for the third annual Spirit Awards. This community award celebrates individuals who have displayed extraordinary service above self and served as an inspiration to others.

Seven selected individuals will be featured in The Times of Northwest Indiana media and honored at the United Way of Porter County Annual Celebration in March 2019 at Duneland Falls Banquet & Meeting Center in Chesterton, Indiana.

Award nominations will be accepted from all Northwest Indiana counties. You may submit more than one nomination. Recipients will be selected by a committee of volunteers.
