ORLANDO, FL -
Michael 'Mike' J. Milanowski, age 51, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully Monday, October 22, 2018. Mike was born April 29, 1967 in Hammond, IN to Thomas J. and (late) Barbara A. (nee Smith) Milanowski. He is survived by his father; sister Sara M. (Josh) Easto; brothers Jeffrey A. (Kimberly) Milanowski and Daniel S. (Chelsea) Milanowski. Mike was a loving uncle to Ryan, Catherine (Kevin), Porter and Gunnar. He is also survived by great-aunts and uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins and a huge second family of friends from Florida and Indiana. Mike graduated in 1985 from Hanover Central High School, Cedar Lake, IN. He has lived in Orlando, FL for the past 30 years. For 28 years Mike has been well known for welcoming visitors, family and friends with a huge friendly smile at the Sci-Fi Drive-In Theater Restaurant, Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort. He loved Disney, Universal Studios, roller coasters, hiking, comics, attending Comic-Cons, musicals and theater. But most of all he loved sharing all of this with his family and friends.
Cremation will precede a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 11:00-4:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 261, 13050 Washington St., Cedar Lake, IN. Services in Florida are yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers please help us celebrate Mike's life and generosity by donating to one of his favorite charities: breast cancer organizations like Pink Ribbon Society or Toys For Tots.
