GARY — A 27-year-old man was treated at a local hospital Tuesday for a gunshot wound to his arm, police said.

Gary police were dispatched about 9 p.m. after the man arrived at the hospital, Lt. Thomas Pawlak said.

The man gave conflicting information about where the shooting occurred, police said.
