GARY — A 23-year-old man was found dead from gunshot wounds Monday in an alley, according to the Lake County coroner's office.
Antonio Adams, 23, of Gary's West Side, was found in the 700 block of Georgia Street in the city's Emerson neighborhood. He was pronounced dead at the scene at noon Monday.
The death was ruled a homicide.

The man is the fourth person found shot to death in Gary since Sunday, when the bodies of a Hammond woman, her fiance and their friend were discovered at two different locations.
Heather Talley, 27, of Hammond, was found shot to death early Sunday on the city's far east side, near the Lake Station border.

Her fiance, Darius Ross, 28, of Gary, and the couple's friend Nicholas Edwards, 28, of Gary, were found shot to death hours later near the city's downtown.
Talley, Ross and Edwards had gone out Saturday night to celebrate Ross' birthday. Talley's body was found less than a mile from Ross' home, records show.
