MUNSTER — A 25-year-old man was arrested Saturday after throwing rocks at a woman's car, exposing his genitals and banging on a window at a local doughnut shop, police said.

Emanuel Spikes, whose last listed address was in Ohio, was walking away from Munster Donuts, 8314 Calumet Ave., about 1:30 a.m. July 7 when Munster police arrived and ordered him to stop, Lt. Ed Strbjak said.

When Spikes turned around, the officer noticed his genitals were still exposed.

Munster police initially responded to the doughnut shop just after midnight, when a woman reported a man had been throwing rocks at her car.

The woman told him to stop, but he didn't. She called police, and he ran northwest toward Jackson Avenue. Officers were unable to locate him at that time, Strbjak said.

Police returned about 1:30 a.m. for the indecent exposure call, arrested Spikes and took him to the Lake County Jail.

Spikes was charged with misdemeanor criminal mischief and public indecency, police said.
