CROWN POINT — A 19-year-old man is accused of videotaping a sexual encounter he had last fall with a 17-year-old girl in Highland.

Jordan Greer, of Highland, was charged Friday in Lake Criminal Court with two counts of child exploitation, both level 5 felonies.

The allegations were reported to police Jan. 18, according to court records.

The girl told police she met Greer Nov. 2, 2017, at a fast-food restaurant in Griffith. She said they went to his friend's home in Highland, where they smoked marijuana and had sex.

She said Greer's two friends came into the room afterward and pressured her into performing oral sex on them, records state.

She said she left the home with Greer. She said she later learned Greer had posted a video of their sexual encounter on Instagram and sent the video to other people through text messages, records state.

Greer admitted in an interview with police he recorded his sexual encounter with the girl and then sent it to two friends, records state. He said he wanted to apologize to the girl and her family.

A warrant was issued Friday for Greer's arrest, authorities said.

His surety bond is $50,000, records state.
