ST. JOHN — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a woman and man believed responsible for two thefts at the local Strack & Van Til store.

Photos of the woman and man were released by police Monday afternoon as part of the investigation.

The first theft in question occurred March 12 when a woman and man concealed $162 worth of baby formula in the woman's purse and left the store without paying for the items, police said.

The second incident occurred Saturday when the same pair again placed $163.00 of baby food in a purse and left the store without paying, police said.

The woman and man left the area in an unknown direction in a light-colored passenger vehicle, police said.
