PORTAGE TOWNSHIP — A man was taken to the hospital Sunday night after being shot in the South Haven area, Porter County police Sgt. Benjamin McFalls said.
Officers were called out around 7:08 p.m. to the 700 block of Ind. 149 where they found the man with a gunshot wound, McFalls said.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Porter County police are investigating and ask that anyone with information about the shooting contact the department at 219-477-3000.
