WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP — A woman was sleeping on a couch in her family room early Friday when the window above her shattered by what turned out to be a paintball, according to Porter County police.
The woman walked out of the front door of her home in the 100 block of Williamsburg Drive and saw three people, wearing all black, standing in the street, police said.
The trio then shot several more paintballs, hitting her left arm, front door and windows, police said.
The three suspects then ran eastbound in the mobile home park, and the victim lost sight of them, police said.
