LANSING — A 19-year-old woman reported missing earlier this month in Lansing was located in Chesterton and did not appear to have developmental disabilities, as originally reported, Lansing police said.

Joslyn Perez was last seen at 11 p.m. Dec. 2 while staying at a relative's house in Lansing, Illinois, Lansing Detective Lt. Steven Roberts said.

On Dec. 11, investigators learned Perez might be in Chesterton, police said. Chesterton police helped locate Perez.

She was in good health and spirits and said she was never in any danger, police said.
