Woman ejected from vehicle, airlifted to hospital

PORTAGE — A woman was ejected from her vehicle in a rollover crash on I-94 and was airlifted to a hospital.

Indiana State Police were called around 7:45 p.m. for a single-vehicle rollover crash on westbound I-94, west of Indiana 249 near mile marker 18, Cpl. Dan Becker said.

The woman was thrown from her car in the crash, and her current condition is unknown. The incident caused traffic congestion in the area of the crash.

Limited details on the crash are known, and further information will be released by Indiana State Police, Becker said.
