LAPORTE — County police said they confiscated an "extraordinary" number of illegal THC cartridges during a recent traffic stop along the local stretch of Interstate 94.

A member of a highway interdiction team began following a passenger vehicle Wednesday morning and carried out a traffic stop due to driving violations, police said.
A police dog detected the presence of illegal drugs and police said they discovered two large cardboard boxes containing "an extraordinary amount of THC cartridges," the department reported.
Daniel Pasco is charged with two felony counts of child molesting, records show.
The driver, identified as Mark Crowley, 28, of Aurora, Illinois, was taken into custody and faces a felony county of dealing in a controlled substance, police said.
