GRIFFITH — Police are searching for a man believed to have been involved in a hit-and-run accident in the 200 block of East Ridge Road in Griffith.

Griffith police Cmdr. Keith Martin said the suspect is believed to have fled on foot from the crash scene into nearby neighborhoods.
