Adult Summer Reading to host Meet and Greet with authors

EAST CHICAGO | The Adult Summer Reading program at the East Chicago Public Library heats up with a “Meet and Greet” social event at 4 p.m. Saturday at DBA’s Family Dining, 3802 Main St. The program will spotlight local and national bestselling authors who will showcase and autograph copies of their latest books in a special program. Meet authors Naleighna Kai, author of "Open Door Marriage;" Aida Lugo McAllister, author of "Aida’s Kitchen a lo Boricua;" Miesha Robinson, author of "Loyalty v/s Love Reloaded;" and Chris Woods, author of "One Mailbox @ A Time."  A special guest is Kay Joe Unscripted, a local spoken word artist who will share his work. This event is free for adults 21 and older.  Registration is required; call the Reference Department at (219) 397-2453, ext. 12 by Friday.
