A tire blew before a semitrailer loaded with a steel coil rolled over Thursday night on a ramp from I-65 to eastbound I-94, Indiana State Police said.

The driver, a 46-year-old Clinton, Indiana, man, told troopers he heard a popping sound about 4:50 p.m. and felt a vibration before the trailer began to fishtail.

The flatbed trailer overturned, and the 2015 Kenworth tractor and the trailer slid about 200 feet and came to rest blocking both lanes of the ramp and both shoulders, police said.

Police found a right rear tire was blown, police said.

The semi driver was not injured.
