SCHERERVILLE — Traffic is moving freely on U.S. 30 after a blue Suzuki collided with a white Jeep at Cline Avenue Monday morning, police say.

The driver of the Suzuki, who was heading westbound, attempted to pass multiple cars using the center lane and hit several side-view mirrors before ultimately crashing into the Jeep.

A blue Suzuki collided with a white Jeep on U.S. 30 near Cline Avenue Monday morning, stalling traffic in the area.

Cmdr. Jeffrey Cook said no injuries were reported, and neither driver was issued a citation.

Both vehicles have been towed from the roadway, Cook said, with all lanes of traffic open.
